Firebreak

The Story

"Firebreak" follows some of the characters from Chasing Sunsets and the protagonist's company Polygene through an ambitious effort to develop a revolutionary new technology.   As the system's lead designer, the player will have to tackle the fallout of a catastrophic failure and save the lives of the people endangered by it.  His digital assistant will be an integral piece of the puzzle as he works to free his test subjects, and become closer to them in the process.

The Game 

Stone Fox Studios has taken a story-forward approach with high render density with higher-than-usual production values to deliver one of the most cinematic experiences in the visual novel genre.   In addition to quality art, we have integrated over 30 original songs and many sound effects to round out the player experience.

The game is intended to be released in new installments until the full story is told, and serves as a soft sequel to Chasing Sunsets.  Firebreak imports variables from the last game and they have some effect on the story, with many of the characters returning either as full-fledged love interests, or supporting cast.   The final story will provide opportunities to get close to nearly a dozen different intelligent and accomplished ladies from a variety of  backgrounds.

Chapter 1 is complete and available in both 1080P and 4K formats.  It was released on 9/28/2026.   The current content is equivalent to 2-3 hours of gameplay, 32 choices, over 3000 images, and ships with 7 achievements in the first instalment.

We have included a number of premium features, such as in-game unlockables, a scene gallery, image gallery, communications system, a character information dossier, and more!

The consequences of the choices you make will be reflected in real-time point trackers, and summarized at the beginning of of each new chapter along with a recap of what happened during the last instalment, so that you hit the ground running and you aren't struggling to remember where you left off.

The Development Team

While this is Kentyrr and Stoya's second creative effort, their first game "Chasing Sunsets" has been incredibly well-received by the adult game community, garnering many awards.   Their emphasis on delivering quality and focusing on creating more realistic and organic relationships between primary characters has become their trademark style.
